about me
I have worked around the world for many museums and art institutions. These include: the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires; the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the Smithsonian Center for Materials Research and Education, the National Museum of Women in the Arts and Glenstone Museum in Washington, D.C. and Maryland.

All the people that know me around the world have witnessed my obsession with Caprese Salad, which I first tasted in 1990. My co-workers all along have teased me about how much I enjoy this salad, which goes without saying, needs to be accompanied by classic Coke.

The idea of this blog began on August 25th, 2017, with three colleagues in New York City. One of them, Ron Amstutz, a renowned photographer, began to make fun of me after I ordered Caprese Salad for lunch. He envisioned me creating a blog to talk about this amazing, refreshing, colorful, healthy salad. We were all laughing so much that I made the promise that “one day I would create a Caprese Salad Blog in his honor.”

The time has come!

Please join me in sharing stories, recipes, and pictures of Caprese Salads you have eaten. I would love to receive as many as possible so we can illustrate Caprese Salads from all the cities around the world.
